Belvedere Heights Villa gives up direct beach access for something a lot of villas in Calangute can't offer — genuine elevation. Set into the hillside above the town, its rooftop terrace and pool deck look out over rooftops, palms and the sea beyond, especially dramatic at sunset when Calangute's beach strip below is bathed in gold light. The trade-off is a short drive rather than a walk to the sand, but in return you get a noticeably quieter, breezier setting than the busier beachfront properties, plus a view that no ground-level villa in the area can match. Interiors are comfortable and unfussy, letting the outlook do most of the talking.
